If senior citizens find themselves in an emergency situation, Gardia's emergency bracelet allows them to move independently of a stationary emergency button and call for help. The bracelet recognises falls and automatically makes emergency calls, reducing the time it takes to find patients and minimising the consequences of damage.

Creating measurable impact

  • CHALLENGE

Each year, 5.4 million people over 65 in Germany fall. After an emergency situations, they often can`t call for help on their own. Emergency call systems and smartwatches cannot automatically detect falls and are often complicated and impractical.

  • SOLUTION

Caera has developed an emergency bracelet that automatically detects falls and sends an alert. With a long battery life and simple operation, seniors can call for help independently.

  • IMPACT

The emergency bracelet reduces the response time for locating fallen or vulnerable individuals, minimizing harm and preventing hospitalizations. With Caera, over 5,000 people in need have been assisted so far.
