Nikolaj studied electrical engineering and information technology at the Technical University of Munich and started his professional career in the automotive and energy industries after graduating. With his professional experience in corporate and medium-sized companies, he switched to the dynamic environment of technology and strategy consulting while completing his master's degree in industrial engineering at TUM.

During a period of 5 years, Nikolaj built two startups in the areas of the Internet of Things and robotics. His founding role included multiple business units, both on the tech and business side. Prior to joining BonVenture, he was an investment manager at a tech VC.
