Carbon Capture Pioneer Planeteers GmbH Successfully Closes Seed Funding Round

Planeteers, a leading startup in the field of carbon capture and storage (CCS), today announced that it has successfully closed a significant single-digit million seed funding round. In addition to the continued participation of existing investors and together with Smart Energy Innovationsfonds AG from Energy 360° AGand ClimaNow, BonVenture joined the investor group.

Planeteers will use the funds to further develop its innovative advanced ocean alkalinity enhancement technology, aimed at efficiently removing CO2 from point sources and producing mineralized water. This funding will enable the company to scale its operations, expand its team, and accelerate its market entry.
